The Rocking Giant Wheel is Chimelong Water Park's 2018 grand finale. It's the world's first vertical rotating water slide, manufactured in Germany, a groundbreaking innovation in the water park industry.
The entire ride stands 26 meters tall, with perfectly rounded corners. The three main slides are painted orange, green, and purple respectively, giving it the overall shape of a water Ferris wheel. It's a feast for the eyes even from afar, and the interior features a dreamlike lighting system that transports you to a romantic, illusory starry sky.
The "Python" slide is an adrenaline-pumping adventure, constantly filled with the novel experience of "What will happen next?" After gliding out of the winding, spiraling slide, you enter the 6-meter-long fully enclosed MEGA tube, which will give you a unique experience combining twists, spirals, and vibrations that will definitely leave you wanting more.
The "Giant Flood Canyon" encircles the entire "Hot Wave Valley" area, bringing visitors an experience comparable to the towering waves of Hawaiian valleys! This experience will bring you unparalleled water fun. You'll first plunge through an amethyst tunnel, arriving at an enormous bowl. Big Horn Restaurant is located next to the Big Horn facility and the lazy river. It has an elegant and comfortable environment and is a restaurant that brings together the cuisine of many Southeast Asian countries, such as coconut curry chicken rice set meal, Thai minced meat fried rice with chicken skewers set meal, laksa soup noodles, etc. If you love Southeast Asian food, you must try it.
Chimelong Hotel
As a forest-style hotel at the heart of the resort, it is surrounded by green spaces and forests, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. A major highlight is that some rooms offer views of snow tigers, flamingos, and other animals; guests can enjoy breakfast while watching the animals from their window seats in the White Tiger Restaurant. Chimelong Panda Hotel

Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel
Ideal for travelers who enjoy Lingnan cuisine, this hotel preserves the authentic Lingnan dining environment and cooking methods. The Xiangjiang Chinese Restaurant features distinctive Panyu Tujia-style dishes and braised dishes. The hotel rooms are themed around cartoon animals and include children's bathrobes, cartoon toiletries, and other family-friendly amenities. The lobby's children's play area features interactive games and children's classes. It's a 15-minute walk to the water park and also offers shuttle bus service. Overall, it offers better value than the previous two Chimelong hotels.
From Guangzhou Local Hubs
Take Metro Line 3 (North Extension) and transfer to Line 3. The journey takes approximately 1 hour directly to Hanxi Changlong Station. Alternatively, take Airport Express Line 7 to Panyu Lijiang Mingzhu Hotel, then transfer to a taxi or bus to the parking lot; the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. A direct taxi ride is approximately 40 kilometers, taking 40-60 minutes and costing approximately 120-180 yuan.
This is the most convenient high-speed rail hub. A 5-minute walk to the nearest metro station, take Line 7 for just 4 stops to Hanxi Changlong Station. After exiting the station, take the free shuttle bus within the park for 10 minutes to close the park. A taxi ride to surrounding areas takes 10-15 minutes and costs approximately 20-30 yuan.
From Guangzhou Railway Station, take Line 2 from Yuexiu Park Station to Kecun Station, then transfer to Line 3 to Hanxi Changlong Station; from Guangzhou East Railway Station, take Line 3 directly to Hanxi Changlong Station. Both subway journeys take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Departing from cities around Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao
Option 1: Take the high-speed rail from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Guangzhou South Station (approx. 47 minutes). Transfer to Metro Line 7 to Hanxi Changlong Station, then board the park's free shuttle bus. Alternatively, take cross-border buses like China-Hong Kong Through Bus or Wing Tung Bus. Some routes offer direct service to Changlong Hotel or Xiangjiang Hotel. After alighting, walk or transfer to a short shuttle bus to reach the water park.
Take the Macau-Zhuhai-Guangzhou Intercity Rail to Zhuhai High-Speed Rail Station, then transfer to the high-speed rail for about 1 hour 10 minutes to Guangzhou South Station. Follow the route from Guangzhou South Station to the park. Alternatively, take a taxi directly from Macau to Zhuhai Hengqin Port. After clearing customs, transfer to the Zhuhai-Guangzhou bus and connect to the subway to the park.
From Foshan, take the Guangfo Line and transfer to Line 3 to Hanxi Changlong Station, taking about 1 hour total. From Dongguan, drive via the Guangshen Expressway and transfer to the Dongxin Expressway for a direct 1.5-hour trip. Alternatively, take the high-speed rail to Guangzhou South Station and transfer to the metro.
