Being one of the best-known ski resorts in China, Jihua Changshou Mountain Ski Resort is located in Binxi National Forest Park, about only 42 kilometers from Harbin downtown and taking about 40 minutes’ driving. Built in a natural basin and surrounded by mountains, the towering peaks snake around and enclose the resort forming a natural wind-sheltered haven. The resort has 15 different ski slopes, which in total cover a distance of 30 kilometers, cater for beginner, medium and advanced-level skiers. There are 8 lifts running at the same time to transport the guests to the top of the starting point. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 255 and 463 m. The resort is the training base for Harbin Sking Team. It can accommodate 5,000 people skiing at the same time. What’s more, it is a good place for cross-country skiing.
