Kingkey 100 (KK100) is located 5016 Shennan East Road, Luohu District, Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. It is formerly known as the Kingkey Financial Centre. This building is 441.8 meters tall and there are a total of 100 floors. It is the tallest building in Shenzhen, the fourth tallest building in mainland of China and the eighth tallest building in the world for now (in 2013). The building was designed jointly by two internationally renowned architectural firms from the United Kingdom - TFP and ARUP. And the China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. was responsible for the construction of it.

The steel that Kingkey 100 used to construct reaches a maximum thickness of 130 mm and the steel consumption of this building reached 60,000 tons, which is the first case in Shenzhen, even in the whole country. The cumulative length of all the welds may be circled around the equator for four circles. And the construction is in the use of C80 high strength cement, which has a higher strength and toughness. This is the first case in the country's skyscrapers. Kingkey 100 has regarded as another landmark in Shenzhen.
The 75-100 layers will be jointly created super five-star luxury hotel - the St. Regis Hotel, with the world's top hotel management company, Starwood. The hotel will also become one of the world's highest hotels. At the bottom of Building, it is an international characteristics business square, with a building area of more than 80000 square meters. The design of store here is synchronous with the international trend, reflects the modern culture and includes the world class brand shopping stores.
KK100’s 100 floors are divided into three main functional zones, each catering to different needs of business travelers, shoppers and tourists.
The upper 26 floors of KK100 are home to The St. Regis Shenzhen, one of the world’s highest luxury hotels managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts (now part of Marriott International). Opened in 2011, it redefines “sky-high elegance” with opulent interiors and unrivaled views of Shenzhen.
Its 280 spacious rooms and suites all feature floor-to-ceiling windows, showcasing panoramic vistas of Shenzhen’s skyline, Hong Kong’s New Territories and the Pearl River Delta. The signature “St. Regis Suite” spans 200 square meters, complete with a private living room, marble bathroom and personal butler service—a hallmark of the St. Regis brand.
Food lovers can indulge in world-class cuisine at the hotel’s restaurants. L’Osier is a Michelin-recommended French spot serving classic dishes like foie gras and truffle risotto with a modern twist. Yun specializes in Cantonese fine dining, with signature dishes such as braised abalone and steamed sea bass. For drinks, The St. Regis Bar on the 100th floor—one of Asia’s highest bars—offers the brand’s iconic “Bloody Mary” alongside sunset views of the city.
The hotel also includes a 25-meter indoor swimming pool on the 76th floor (with skyline views), a luxury spa and a fully equipped fitness center, perfect for unwinding after a day of business or sightseeing.
The lower floors (B1–F6) house Kingkey 100 Mall, an 80,000-square-meter shopping center designed to match international trends. It’s a favorite among locals and tourists for its mix of luxury brands, casual fashion and diverse dining options.
Over 100 stores fill the mall, including world-class luxury brands like Cartier, Gucci and Rolex in the dedicated luxury wing, as well as popular high-street labels such as Zara and H&M. There’s also a dedicated area for tech gadgets, with stores selling the latest smartphones, laptops and smart home devices.
Dining options range from quick bites to fine dining. Visitors can try local Cantonese snacks at Tim Ho Wan (a Michelin-starred dim sum chain), savor Japanese sushi at Genki Sushi or enjoy Italian pizza at Pizza Hut. For dessert, Haagen-Dazs and local bakery BreadTalk are popular choices.
The mall also caters to families with a large indoor playground for kids and a cinema showing the latest Chinese and international films.
The middle floors of KK100 are dedicated to premium office spaces, attracting multinational corporations, tech startups and financial firms.
