Riyuegu Hot Spring Resort is located at No. 1888 Fulian Road, Haicang District, Xiamen. From Xiamen Island, driving or taking a ride-hailing service/taxi is the most convenient option. You can reach it via Haicang Bridge or Xiamen Bridge/Jimei Bridge, the journey takes approximately 30 to 50 minutes and costs roughly 60 to 100 RMB. If choosing public transportation, take Metro Line 2 to "Maqing Road" Station, exit from Exit 1, and transfer to bus 828 or 835. Get off at "Riyuegu Hot Spring" Station; the entire journey takes approximately 60 to 80 minutes. The resort previously offered a free shuttle bus service from within the island, but it is recommended to call ahead to confirm whether this service has resumed operation.
 

2. Xiamen Shengzhixiang Hot Spring Resort

Location: No. 1168 Chaoyuan Road, Tingxi Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen (Located within the Tong'an Tingxi Scenic Area, approximately 50-60 minutes by car from downtown Xiamen).

Nestled amidst the picturesque mountains of Tingxi, Shengzhixiang Hot Spring Resort features Balinese-inspired architecture, offering a tranquil and private environment. The hot springs originate from local natural sodium bicarbonate springs (commonly known as “beauty baths”), featuring specialty infused pools, natural spring pools, and a water park area suitable for family fun. The resort offers diverse accommodation options including rooms and villas, with some room types featuring private soaking pools—ideal for family trips, couples' getaways, or small group gatherings. Nearby attractions include Tingxi Reservoir and Gukeng Village.

How to get there

Shengzhixiang Hot Spring Resort is located at No. 1168 Chaoyuan Road, Tingxi Town, Tongan District, Xiamen City. Due to its location in the scenic Tingxi mountain area, it is strongly recommended to drive or take a taxi. From Xiamen Island, after crossing the Xiamen Bridge or Tongan Bridge into Tongan city, drive along the North-South Passage or Tongnan Road. The entire journey takes approximately 60 to 75 minutes, and the taxi fare is approximately 100 to 150 yuan. If taking public transportation, you need to first take the BRT (BRT Line 2 or 5) to "Tongan Hub Station," and then transfer to bus 611 or 619 to "Shengzhixiang Hot Spring Station." The total travel time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and please note the last bus departure time.
 

3. Xiamen Tianmu Hot Spring Resort

Location: No. 398, Hongtang Road, Hongtang Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen (Located in Tong'an countryside, approximately 40-50 minutes by car from downtown Xiamen).

Tianmu Hot Spring embraces the concept of “authentic mountains, authentic waters, authentic hot springs.” Built upon the existing mountainous terrain, the resort exudes a natural, rustic atmosphere with a distinct wilderness charm. The hot spring area is built along the mountainside, with bathing pools nestled among green trees and rocks. Facilities include herbal medicine pools, tea pools, fish therapy pools, and a multi-functional spa zone. The resort emphasizes ecology and wellness, appealing to visitors seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. From the island, take the Xiamen Bridge/Jimei Bridge to Tongji Road, then turn onto Tongan Avenue or National Highway 324 to reach the resort. The journey takes approximately 40 to 60 minutes and costs about 80 to 120 yuan. If choosing public transportation, take the BRT to "Tongan Hub Station," then transfer to bus 792 to "Tianmu Hot Spring Station." The entire journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The resort's location is relatively convenient, making it suitable for tourists who want to combine a natural experience with convenient transportation.
