Top Aerial Adventure Projects

Dream Ordovician is renowned for its collection of world-class high-altitude attractions, many built right above cliffs, waterfalls, and deep valleys. These eight signature activities are the highlights of the entire park.

1. Sky Corridor (天空悬廊)

Shaped like a giant “A,” this transparent glass walkway is installed on the edge of a hundred-meter-high cliff. With a total length of 200 meters and an outward cantilever of nearly 70 meters—longer than the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk—the Sky Corridor has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s longest cantilevered glass skywalk. Walking on its crystal-clear glass panels gives the illusion of floating in mid-air.

2. Cloud Corridor (云端廊桥)

Suspended 300 meters above the dramatic Jinniu Waterfall, this U-shaped glass skybridge extends 35 meters out from the cliff. While the height will challenge your nerves, it also rewards you with breathtaking views of plunging waterfalls and rugged stone peaks.

3. Glass Suspension Bridge (玻璃吊桥)

Much like the famous glass bridge in Zhangjiajie, this bridge also hangs 300 meters above the ground—but with a twist. It is not perfectly horizontal, making it feel unstable as it sways in the wind. Visitors should avoid wearing skirts, as the strong breeze combined with the transparent glass panels can easily cause accidental exposure.

4. Cliff Swing (悬崖秋千)

Even the swing here is extreme—built right on the edge of a cliff. With heights of 4m, 6m, and 8m available, each swing launches riders directly over a 300-meter drop. Many describe the experience in eight memorable Chinese characters: “One moment heaven, the next moment hell.”

5. Step-by-Step (步步惊心)

This attraction features metal beams spaced 30 centimeters apart, suspended above a 150-meter-high cliffside. Visitors must leap from plank to plank, testing balance, courage, and composure with every step.

6. Extreme Leap (极限飞跃)

Think of this as the upgraded version of Step-by-Step. Suspended at a height equivalent to a 100-story building, the gaps between platforms range from 0.8 to 2.5 meters. The entire process requires jumping across open air—an ideal choice for thrill-seekers wanting a real physical challenge.

7. Aerial Swing Bridge (高空荡桥)

Hanging outside the cliff, this hanging bridge is fixed by 50 meters of steel cables. With every small breeze and each step you take, the bridge sways gently, giving you the feeling of drifting through the sky.

8. High-Altitude Walk (高空漫步)

No railings, no glass, just a single safety rope. The walkway features gaps of around 30 centimeters, making each step a careful calculation. It’s mentally challenging, physically demanding, and incredibly rewarding.

Jungle Flying Fox & High-Altitude Zipline

Jungle Flying Fox (丛林飞跃)

Designed for teens and adventurous adults, the Jungle Flying Fox includes six unique lines that allow participants to glide above forests and rock formations. Each line offers a different challenge, making it perfect for those who love speed, excitement, and outdoor exploration.

High-Altitude Zipline (高空速滑)

The park also features three spectacular zipline routes that soar over cliffs, forests, and stone formations. Riders fly through the air for hundreds of meters, experiencing a thrilling combination of speed and panoramic mountain views.

Natural Landscapes & Geological Wonders

Wansheng Stone Forest (万盛石林)

Formed over 440 million years ago during the Ordovician period, this karst stone forest features razor-sharp peaks, towering limestone formations, and natural sculptures resembling animals and ancient marine creatures. With 90% forest coverage, it is a natural ecological treasure house.

Jinniu Waterfall (金牛瀑布)

Located within the scenic area, this waterfall plunges 300 meters down the cliff. Mist rises from the impact zone, creating a stunning interplay of water, stone, and forest. It serves as a dramatic backdrop for many of the high-altitude attractions.

Ice Cave (寒冰洞)

This natural karst cave maintains a cool temperature of around 18°C even in summer. The inside is filled with stalactites and stone formations that resemble an underground palace—a refreshing escape during hot months.

Family-Friendly Zones & Seasonal Attractions

Dinosaur Ice & Snow World (恐龙冰雪世界): A winter favorite, this zone offers indoor and outdoor snow play areas, ski slopes, and giant dinosaur sculptures. Kids can enjoy snowball fights, sledding, and building snowmen.

Fantasy Ice Sculpture Kingdom (梦幻冰雕王国): Open in winter, this sparkling ice park includes neon-lit slides, ice castles, and intricate ice carvings—excellent for photography and family fun.

Children’s Fun Zone (儿童游乐区): Perfect for younger children, this area features classics like pirate ships, bumper cars, frog jump rides, and the “Shark Island Battle” arcade-style attraction.

Shows & Cultural Experiences

Dream Ordovician regularly hosts outdoor programs such as firework shows and musical performances. At Banliao Lake, the Firework Music Festival invites international bands and creates a festive evening atmosphere filled with lights, music, and celebration.
